About

Trojan is a cover band for hire in Geelong, VIC.

Geelong cover band with a compact rig that punches above its footprint, running LED and laser lighting alongside the sound. Trojan have played to thousands one night and to a small room the next, and the set stretches from fifties and sixties material through classic rock to current floor fillers: Mr Brightside, Sex on Fire, Uptown Funk, Are You Gonna Be My Girl, Big Jet Plane, Teenage Dirtbag. There's a separate wedding list too, with Chasing Cars, Every Breath You Take, Hallelujah and Black Magic Woman among them. They work as a duo, trio or full band depending on what the room takes. Public liability insurance is in place and all leads are tagged and tested.

The show

Trojan have played rooms with thousands in them and rooms with barely thirty, and they do not treat those as the same job. The rig scales down, the volume scales down, and the set is chosen for who is actually in front of them. Corporate bookers make up a good share of the calendar, which tends to mean a mixed age crowd and a floor that fills later in the night rather than straight after the first song.
