About
The Party Crashers is a cover band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Bass, drums, lead guitar, saxophone and lead vocals, with harmony singing across the top. The Party Crashers are made up of long-serving Melbourne players, and the sax is what separates them from most pub covers line-ups. The songs are the ones a crowd sings back: Khe Sanh, To Her Door, Jessie's Girl, I'm a Believer, and plenty more in that vein. Small backyard party or a proper venue, the band has done both. One practical note. Outdoor bookings need the playing area covered against the weather.
The show
A high-energy covers band that starts talking to the audience from the opening bar and keeps at it. Small backyard parties, big rooms, they've played both and treat them the same way. Whatever the situation throws up, they handle it without making a fuss about it.
On the day
For anything outdoors, the playing area needs decent cover over it to keep the weather off. Larger events may call for additional production, so mention the scale of the thing when you enquire.
