About
The Mixtape Band is a cover band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Everything you hear is played live, and The Mixtape Band treat that as the point rather than a boast. Nothing runs off a backing track, so the set can shift mid night when they read that the room wants something faster, or older, or louder. Melbourne based, covering the 60s through the 90s and into top 40, with Aussie rock, classic rock and disco all in reach. A good fit for a function where you'd rather the band watched the dance floor than the setlist.
