About
The JC Little Big Band is a cover band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Swing and crooner material, played straight and played well. Vocalist Rory Newman fronts the JC Little Big Band through songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Wayne Newton, so you'll hear Fly Me to the Moon and That's Amore alongside plenty of others people know the words to. The band leans into that, because a room singing along is the point. It suits morning melodies, jazz nights, dances, easy listening sets, weddings and funerals, and the Melbourne diary covers all of them.

The show
Swing, and the crooner songbook that came with it. Rory Newman sings out front, working through material Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Wayne Newton made famous, so Fly Me to the Moon and That's Amore both get a run alongside plenty of other titles your guests will recognise. The band plays them straight, no reinvention, and they'd rather your room joined in than sat politely through it. Easy to listen to, easy to be around, and the mood stays warm from the first tune to the last.
