The Incredible Cucumbers is a cover band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Thirty years of weddings, birthdays and social club nights sit behind this Melbourne band, and the setlist runs past 250 songs. Mostly pop and rock from the 70s, 80s and 90s, right through to current hits, with a handful of 50s and 60s classics on request. Book the three piece and you get female lead vocals, bass and keys with backing tracks filling in drums and guitar. Bigger rooms get the full five piece with a live guitarist and drummer. PA and sound gear come with the band, along with music between sets, and you're welcome to hand over your own playlist or borrow a mic for the speeches. Based in the eastern suburbs, playing anywhere across metro Melbourne.
The show
Book the three piece and you get a woman on lead vocals, a bassist and a keys player, all three singing, with backing tracks covering the drum and guitar parts. Pop and rock classics carry the night, weighted towards the 70s, 80s and 90s but reaching up to what is charting now. PA and sound gear arrive with the band. Between sets there is music playing rather than silence, and if you would rather hear your own playlist in those gaps, hand it over. Their microphones are yours for the speeches too.
