Strawberry Jam is a cover band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Six hundred songs and four possible line ups. Strawberry Jam Band works as a duo, a compact trio, a four piece or a five piece, so the same repertoire can be scaled to a small room or a full dance floor. The duo covers a lot of ground on its own, moving from quiet acoustic playing early on to pub and dance singalongs later, and it fits where a full band physically won't. Material runs from the 60s through to current top 40, and requests get taken for the moments that matter. Gear is high end and the stage always looks organised. MC work, character roving and custom tribute sets built around an artist, an era or a genre can be added. Melbourne based.

The show
The duo is the flexible one. It shifts a room from laid back acoustic playing to up-tempo pub and dance songs everyone shouts along to, and it fits where a full band physically can't. Material spans the 60s to current top 40, with requests taken. The Ultimate Party Band is the busier booking: chilled acoustic sets first, then something closer to a concert, honed across Melbourne nightclub and pub residencies. It runs as a compact trio with a big sound, or stretches to five pieces with costume. Then there's Completely Shania, a seven piece tribute fronted by Vanessa Grillo, taking in Man I Feel Like A Woman, Any Man Of Mine and That Don't Impress Me Much.
On the day
The sound, backline and lighting are all high end, and the stage gets put together properly rather than thrown up in the last ten minutes. Cables dressed, gear squared away, the lot looking like it belongs in the room. On a wedding day especially, that's one corner of the photos you don't have to think about.
Performance options
Extras get added on request. MC work if you want the announcements handled by someone already on the mic. Character roving through the crowd. And custom tribute sets built around a particular artist, a decade or a genre you've picked. Anything else, ask and they'll have a go at it.
