This Melbourne group plays mid eighties material through to current chart hits, everything live with no backing tracks anywhere in the show, and they've worked for clients including ACU, CSIRO and WorkSafe. They're also honest about what they won't do. No Jessie's Girl, no Horses, nothing by Meat Loaf. It's not their style and they'd rather give you their best than pad a set. Rooms from small gatherings up to corporate balls. They bring high end backline and some stage lighting, and ask for mains power and a floor that won't throw dust.
The show
Everything is performed on stage with no backing tracks running underneath, which you notice most in the songs a lesser band would fake. The material spans mid eighties through to current chart hits. They'll play a small gathering or a full corporate ball and have worked for clients including ACU, CSIRO and WorkSafe. They're also upfront about the songs they won't play. No Jessie's Girl, no Horses, nothing by Meat Loaf. It isn't their style and they'd rather give you a set they mean than fill time with something they don't.
On the day
Power and an enclosed space are the two essentials. Mains power specifically, because generators are unreliable and hard on a PA. If you're going with a marquee it needs proper flooring underneath, since dust gets into sensitive gear and does real damage. They bring high end backline and some stage lighting themselves, so the venue doesn't have to supply amplification.
Performance options
Six sizes, and you decide which one your room wants. Acoustic solo, or solo with piano and acoustic guitar. A male and female acoustic duo. A trio of guitar, bass and drums. A four piece adding a second guitarist. Or the full five with both male and female vocals on top of that. They'll mix and match if none of those quite lands, and the same live-only rule applies whichever one you pick.
