About
Inflight Disco is a cover band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Seventies and eighties disco, played live by musicians and singers with international stage experience behind them. Le Freak, Stayin' Alive, Hot Stuff, We Are Family, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, and a long list beyond that. INFLIGHT DISCO work Melbourne events, parties and venues, and they'll shape the setlist around what you actually want to hear rather than running the same show twice. A PA is needed, though the band can arrange one, and an MC can be organised as well. The show is loud, bright and built to be danced to from the first bar.
The show
Musicians and singers who've worked international stages, playing seventies and eighties disco the way it was recorded rather than triggered off a laptop. INFLIGHT DISCO come out loud and stay there. Le Freak, Stayin' Alive, Hot Stuff, We Are Family and a long way past those, and the setlist gets shaped around what your crowd actually wants to hear. It's a show built to be danced to from the opening bar, so give people somewhere to do it.
On the day
INFLIGHT DISCO need a PA in the room. If your venue has a house system, that usually covers it, and worth checking early whether it's up to a full disco band. Where there isn't one, the band can organise sound for you instead, so ask them about it when you enquire. They can also line up an MC to run the announcements if your night needs one.
