About
Elkie Kershaw is a cover band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Elkie Kershaw makes indie rock with a quirky streak, and the songs are fun on the surface with something more serious underneath. Bec Stevens, Suzi and Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers all sit behind the sound. The lyrics are melancholy but sincere, dealing with the general business of growing up, which is why they land with the audiences they land with. Melbourne based. Suits a venue or event that wants an original act with something to say.
