Echo Thief is a cover band for hire in Shepparton, VIC.
Three players from Shepparton with a punchy rock streak running through everything they touch. Echo Thief will do a minimum of three hours of live music at a function, breaks included, and they build the setlist for the night rather than dragging out the same one. Something acoustic early: Wonderwall, Big Jet Plane, Go Your Own Way. Then it turns into Mr Brightside, Uptown Funk, Teenage Dirtbag and Highway To Hell. Weddings, deb balls, sporting club nights, Christmas breakups and backyard parties are all regular work. PA and lighting scale to the guest count, from a small vocal rig up to a system for a few hundred. Give the band two hours to set up and soundcheck.
The show
Three players, one Shepparton rock band, and a minimum of three hours of live music at your function with the breaks counted inside that. The sound has a punchy rock edge to it, which is really just a way of saying the guitars are loud enough to matter. If you want the night to run longer than the standard block, say so early and the lads will work the timing out with you. Same with the gear and the song choices. Both get matched to the room you've booked and the crowd you're expecting, so a small function room and a big shed get treated differently. Ask them anything you want before the day, because the more they know about your event, the better the night goes.
On the day
Two hours on site before the first song, please. That's the band option, and the time goes on getting everything wired up and soundchecked properly rather than rushing it and hoping. It's the difference between a mix that sits right from the first bracket and one that takes half the night to settle.
Performance options
Two ways in. The duo starter pack is two live musicians for three hours of playing time, with a small vocal PA that covers a room of up to 200, a small automated light show, a wireless microphone you can grab for speeches and announcements, and background music playing off a device between the live bits. Step up to the band starter pack and you get the classic three piece, a medium PA rated for up to 400 guests, a medium automated lighting rig, the same wireless mic for speeches, and background music filling the gaps between sets. Neither is fixed in stone. Location, playing time, venue and guest numbers all move things around, so send through the details and they'll shape it to your night.
