About
Daisy Chainsaw is a cover band for hire in Shepparton, VIC.
Duo, trio or full band, depending on what the night needs. Daisy Chainsaw work out of Shepparton with players who've been at this long enough to read a room and change tack, which is the whole trick. One booking might be a loud rock show with the crowd in it up to their necks. Another might be two of them in the corner with acoustics. The song list leans classic rock and pop covers: Brass In Pocket, April Sun In Cuba, Valerie, Mr Brightside, Horses, Sweet Home Alabama, On My Mind. Pubs, clubs, weddings and private functions. They need two hours to set up and sound check, and power.
The show
It depends on the night, and that's the point. Daisy Chainsaw can be a loud rock show with the crowd right in it, or two of them tucked in a corner with acoustic guitars, or anything sitting between those two. Every member has been at it long enough to read a room and pick songs that fit it, which is a rarer skill than it sounds. So a Shepparton pub on a Saturday and a quieter wedding reception get a genuinely different night out of the same band.
On the day
Two hours before the first song, for load-in and a proper sound check. And power, obviously. How much room they take up depends on which version you've booked, since two of them with acoustics need a corner and the full band needs a good deal more than that.
Performance options
Three sizes. An acoustic duo for a quieter room, a trio, or the full band when people are there to dance. What suits depends on the function and the space you've got.
