About
Colsy & The Coconuts is a cover band for hire in Bendigo, VIC.
Three experienced musos from Bendigo who play together because they enjoy it. Colsy & The Coconuts work as a three piece rock band, an acoustic trio or a two piece acoustic duo, whichever suits the room, and the songs run from the 70s through to now. Kryptonite, What's Up, Living On A Prayer, Better Be Home Soon, April Sun In Cuba, Everlong, Pumped Up Kicks, Holy Grail, Never Tear Us Apart, You're The Voice. The set changes constantly and they read the audience rather than working through a fixed list. They bring instruments, PA, lights and a wireless mic, so you only need to supply power.
Watch
The show
Guitar, bass and drums, three players out of Bendigo. You can have them as a rock band, an acoustic trio or pared back to a two piece acoustic duo, and which one you pick usually comes down to the room and the crowd rather than anything else. The songs span the 70s up to whatever is on the radio now. They don't lock a list in and march through it either. They watch what the crowd responds to and shift the set as the night goes, so you get the songs your guests actually want to hear.
On the day
Power. That's the short answer. Instruments, the PA, lights and a wireless mic all come with the band, so there's no hire list to chase and nothing for your venue to supply beyond a working outlet near where they'll play.
Performance options
How the booking is put together depends on your event, where it is and how many sets of live music you want across the night. Ask, and they'll work out the shape of it with you.
