About
Spider-Punk is a costume character for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Punk rock attitude in a Spider-Man suit. This Melbourne costumed character brings the Spider-Verse into the room with meet and greets, hero poses, photos with every guest, improvised character banter and dance-offs when the energy needs a lift. Birthday shout-outs and a cake appearance are part of it at parties, and there's Q&A behind the mask that keeps the mystery intact for the little ones. Works birthdays, conventions, school events and festivals, for guests of any age. What's needed on site: a safe performance area, shade if it's outdoors on a hot day, parking nearby, a private spot for costume adjustments on longer bookings, and a heads up about stairs or access.
The show
Punk rock attitude inside a Spider-Man suit. Guests get hero poses, photos with everyone who wants one, improvised character banter and dance-offs when the energy needs picking up. At a birthday there's a shout-out for the birthday child and an appearance for the cake. There's Q&A behind the mask too, handled in a way that keeps the mystery intact for anyone still young enough to believe it. Birthdays, conventions, school events and festivals, and guests of any age get a look in.
On the day
A safe performance area, indoors or out. If it's outdoors on a warm day, some shade is genuinely appreciated, since the suit is a suit. Parking close to the venue helps with getting in and out unseen, and for longer bookings a private spot for costume adjustments makes a real difference. Flag any stairs, access requirements or venue restrictions when you enquire rather than on the day.
Performance options
The short appearance runs half an hour: meet and greet, photos with guests, and a birthday shout-out. The longer one doubles that to a full hour and adds interactive entertainment, more character engagement, and group activities and games. For conventions, festivals, corporate events and other special appearances, the show gets built to fit what you're running rather than picked off a list.
