About
Vida Slayman is a comedian for hire in Adelaide, SA.
GlamAdelaide called her "funny, fierce, and unafraid to lay everything bare", and that is a fair summary of Vida Slayman on a microphone. She works as both comedian and MC, and the MC side is where the experience shows: reading a room quickly, keeping the energy up between acts, making people feel included rather than picked on. Sell out solo seasons at the Adelaide Fringe are a regular thing for her, and the same shows have travelled to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and to Edinburgh. Corporate events, fundraisers and celebrations all suit. She needs a microphone and a PA. Vida is insured and holds a South Australian working with children check.
Watch
The show
Vida turns up on time and fully charged, ready to start the moment you need her. The audience has a good time. Then, if it all went the way it should, the two of you high five at the end. That's how she likes to work, and it tells you most of what you need to know about the energy she brings to a stage.
