About
Red Rocket 3 is a children's band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Can you walk like an emu? Can you shake it like a mango? Red Rocket 3 ask questions like that for a living. Three musical explorers from Brisbane playing live drums, keyboards, guitar and harmonies for kids, with singalongs, interactive games and a lot of dancing. The set runs through Red Rocket Theme, Froggy, Musical Statues, Planes Trains Cranes, Monster Dance, Walking on the Moon, What's Your Superpower? and Limbo, finishing on the Red Rocket Train. Give them roughly six metres by five and one power point for the mixing desk and speakers. Loud, silly, and genuinely live.
Watch
The show
Walking like an emu, shaking like a mango, dancing the sprinkler: this is the sort of instruction the kids get. Three musical explorers, one rocket, and drums, keyboards, guitar and harmonies all played live in front of them. Singalongs, interactive games, plenty of dancing and a fair bit of laughing. It's high energy from the first song, and the children are in the middle of it rather than sitting and watching.
On the day
About six metres by five of performance space is what the three of them need to work in, and a single power point close by runs the mixing desk and the powered speakers. That's the whole list. Everything else arrives with the band, so an indoor hall or a marquee both work.
