Interactive, and built to make a room think rather than nod along. Martin doesn't run a stock keynote. Give him the theme, who's in the audience, how many of them there are and how the event is structured, and he'll shape the content around all four. That does mean the more you tell him beforehand, the better the fit, so it's worth answering properly when he asks.
On the day
He brings his own laptop with the presentation on it. Your side is a data projector and screen, or an LCD screen, with an HDMI connection, plus audio so the video inside the presentation can play. For workshops you'll also want flip charts, paper and markers. For a larger room, a good quality microphone matters, and he'd prefer a head or lapel one over a handheld.
