About
Change Management is a business speaker for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Simon moved to Australia nearly 18 years ago and has spent more than a decade working in change management roles. He also hosts radio, MCs, and runs podcasts, including some shows in Italian. That mix is the point. His talks blend a bit of fun, a bit of reflection and a fair amount of questioning, aimed at the assumptions that quietly hold a team back. Having lived abroad for half his life, he draws on real diversity and inclusion situations he's been in rather than theory, and on what corporate culture actually needs to get the best from people. Works with large crowds or small ones. He brings a laptop; speakers and microphones need to be provided.
The show
Simon doesn't lecture. He asks, and he keeps asking, until the room starts poking at the assumptions it walked in with. There's humour in it, and quieter stretches where people actually think. The material comes from a life spent moving between countries and more than ten years inside corporate change roles, so the diversity and inclusion examples are things that happened to him rather than case studies off a slide. He'll talk about what a culture has to look like if you want people to give you their best. Big room or a small team, the approach doesn't change much.
On the day
Simon brings his own laptop for the presentation. Everything else on the audio side sits with you or the venue: speakers and microphones need to be there and working before he starts. Worth sorting early with whoever runs the room, because most conference spaces already have both.
