About
Blake the Balloonist is a balloon twister for hire in Townsville City, QLD.
Fifteen years of twisting balloons into animals, and now his own business doing it. Blake works birthday parties, school events, festivals and shopping centre holiday celebrations, and he can either sit with a small group of kids and take his time or push out a high volume of balloons when there's a queue. He brings all his own gear, so setup and pack down take almost no time. Insurance and a blue card, both in hand. Based in Townsville, and themed birthday packages with decorations and party games can be arranged with four weeks' notice.
The show
Blake turns up with everything, so there's no gear list for you to work through and nothing to hire in. Setting up and packing down take almost no time at all, which matters when you've got a schedule to keep. He can work two ways: sitting with a small group and taking his time over each balloon, or turning them out fast when there's a long queue of kids waiting. Insurance and a blue card are both in hand if your venue asks to see them.
On the day
Nothing needed on your end. He brings all his own gear, so there's no power, no table and no space requirement to organise before he arrives.
Performance options
Beyond the balloon twisting itself, there's a themed birthday party option worth knowing about. Give him at least four weeks' notice and he'll put together a package built around whatever your child is into, with themed decorations, extra party games, goodie bags and balloons to match. A dinosaur party, say, arrives as dinosaur balloons, dinosaur decorations and toys in the bags. The extra items do add to the cost, and he bundles them so it works out as reasonably as it can.
