The show
The whole point here is that people look up. Aerial silks and aerial hoop are the mainstays, both worked at height and both built to be watched. There's also Tetra, a custom ground based aerial structure that goes indoors or out, so a venue with no rigging still gets an aerial act. Bubble artistry is on the list too, either as an indoor performance or as an outdoor station guests play at, and there's an LED hula hoop roving set that comes into its own after dark. Solo is standard. But it can also be a duo, with a live guitarist and singer alongside the aerial work.
On the day
Space is what matters most. Tetra needs a clear five by five metre floor. The freestanding rig, which is available if your venue has nothing to hang from, stands up to seven metres and wants seven by seven of floor. If the venue can be rigged instead, the hoop needs a rigging point at four metres minimum and the silks need six. Worth checking your ceiling height early, because it decides which of the three you can have.
Performance options
The aerial work is performed on tetra. A live musician can be booked to play alongside it, so the same act carries on as music once the aerial routine finishes.
