About
Vanessa McKeand (harpist) and MV2 (violin and harp) is a wedding band for hire in South Melbourne, VIC.
Harp is an unusual choice for a wedding and a very effective one. Vanessa McKeand plays across Melbourne, either solo or as MV2, a violin and harp duo with violinist Mary Johnston. The two instruments together have a quality that is hard to describe and easy to recognise, somewhere between magical and slightly mysterious. She adapts to what the event needs rather than arriving with one fixed programme. A good fit for a ceremony, a drinks hour, or anywhere you want something people will actually stop and listen to.
