About

Violinist is a violinist for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.

Jonathon Ginn plays solo violin on the Gold Coast, with piano backing tracks filling in underneath so a single player still sounds like a full arrangement. The repertoire runs from modern pop and love ballads through film scores, classical pieces and Christian songs, which makes it easy to cover a ceremony, a drinks hour and a dinner without repeating himself. He also works as a violin and piano duo, or violin and guitar. Setup asks nothing of you: the sound system runs off batteries, so there's no scramble for a power lead in a garden or a barn. Weddings, corporate nights and private functions all suit. He's insured.

The show

Jonathon plays solo violin with piano tracks underneath, so one player fills a room the way a small ensemble would. His repertoire moves through popular covers, classical works, film scores and Christian songs, and he draws on a wide enough list to keep a ceremony, a drinks hour and a dinner sounding different from one another. Weddings, corporate events and private functions are the usual bookings. Want two players instead of one? He also works as a violin and piano duo, or violin and guitar.

On the day

You shouldn't need to arrange anything at all. His sound system is battery powered, so there's no power lead to find and no outlet to keep clear, which makes outdoor ceremonies straightforward.
