Lauren Bradnam is a violinist for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.

Live violin over polished backing tracks, which is why a solo player can fill a room the way Lauren Bradnam does. She's based on the Gold Coast and plays more than a hundred events a year across Queensland: weddings, proposals, gala dinners, brand launches, corporate functions. Her repertoire runs to hundreds of songs, pop through to classical and film. Most requested are Can't Help Falling in Love, A Thousand Years, Pachelbel's Canon in D and Hallelujah. Her own favourites lean a bit different, Sweet Child O' Mine, Shallow, River Flows in You. She's won the Australian Wedding Awards National Live Entertainment category and the ABIA Queensland Wedding Instrumentalist award. Setup and pack down happen outside your booked hours, so the time you pay for is time she's playing.

The show

Live violin, and the atmosphere built around what you actually want rather than a default program. Lauren works out with you where the music sits across the day, which moments need it and which are better left quiet, and plays to that. It's a solo player, but with backing behind the violin it carries a room properly. Ceremonies, receptions, corporate rooms and parties all get the same approach.

On the day

Setting up takes between fifteen minutes and an hour depending on how big the event is, sound check included, and it all happens before your guests arrive. Worth knowing: none of that comes out of your booked hours. Pack down sits outside them too. So the time you're paying for is time she's playing, which is not how every act does it.

Performance options

For a wedding ceremony she can cover the lot: guests arriving, the bridal entrance, the signing, the exit, then the mingling and canapes afterwards. Receptions work the same way, with music through the guest and bridal party entrances, between meals, under the formalities and speeches, the cake and the first dance. Corporate functions are a regular booking. So are birthdays, engagements, parties and proposals.
