About
Bella is a violinist for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Isabel covers more ground on a violin than most. The flashy runs in Vivaldi's Four Seasons, the long melodies of a famous jazz ballad, and pop songs the room will sing along to, plus Celtic and Irish material. Weddings, proposals, corporate functions and one-off special events all get the same instrument and a different set. For most bookings she brings her own equipment and amplification if it's needed, so all that's really required is enough room to play and, outdoors, some shade or shelter to keep sun and rain off the instrument. Public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

On the day
Enough room to play is the main thing. Isabel brings her own gear and amplification when the space calls for it, so there's usually nothing you need to supply. Outdoors is the one place to think ahead: a violin doesn't want direct sun or rain on it, so some shade or shelter over the playing spot is worth arranging before the day.
