The show
The dance is the act here. Joshua Dal Santo works through a medley that crosses the hits, and the moves are the ones people are waiting for, executed with the precision the material demands. Costumes are made for the job and swapped in front of you as part of the routine. Thriller turns up, as do Dangerous, Billie Jean, The Way You Make Me Feel and Smooth Criminal. Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, corporate nights, clubs and festivals all suit it, and a Christmas or Halloween booking gives it an obvious hook.
On the day
Setting up is quick. A laptop or device plugged into amplification covers the audio, with the music supplied on USB or CD. Beyond that he needs a cleared four by three metre area to move in. That's enough for a theatre stage, a hall floor, a nightclub, a festival site or a backyard birthday.
Performance options
