About
Michael Jackson Tribute Artist is a tribute show for hire in Perth, WA.
Look, moves and costumes, all three studied closely. This Perth tribute artist rebuilds Michael Jackson's stage work down to the detail, with signature choreography and outfit changes timed into the show. Setlists are yours to choose or his to build: Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, Thriller, or a deeper cut like Stranger in Moscow. Formats run from a single song to a short 30 or 45-minute set to a full two-hour show. Sound and lighting can be supplied, with smoke or fog effects if the room suits it. Set-up is quick, five to ten minutes on a stage that's already rigged. Parties, corporate functions, festivals and special events.
Watch
The show
The look and the moves are rebuilt in detail, from the outfits to the choreography, and there are several costume changes worked into the show with the quick swaps timed so the energy doesn't drop. You choose the songs or he'll build a medley that keeps moving. It scales from a twenty minute spotlight up to a full two hours. Transitions between numbers are clean, the audio playback is handled, and lighting or effects can be added if the room suits it. Kids and grandparents both tend to know the words, which is half the appeal.
On the day
If your stage and sound are already rigged, five to ten minutes covers it: costume on, music checked, warm-up done. Bring his own sound or lighting into it and that stretches to fifteen or twenty, which includes testing the gear and setting up any smoke or fog effects. Send him your run sheet and he'll work backwards from your start time so nothing is rushed.
