Seven pieces, two hours, two parts, and a fair bit of cheek. Totally Stonez play the best of the Rolling Stones with real musicianship behind it, and Mick Taggar out front leans into the humour rather than pretending to be the man himself. The band is careful to say it isn't a tribute act so much as a group of Melbourne players who love this catalogue. Jumpin' Jack Flash, Miss You, Satisfaction, Brown Sugar, Honky Tonk Women, Paint It Black, Wild Horses and Ruby Tuesday are all in the set, with Lizzy Mac's vocals lifting Gimme Shelter. Line-up is keyboards, two guitars, bass, drums, lead vocals and female backing. Outdoor bookings need cover overhead.

Experienced Melbourne players, and a show pitched at the loud end. The energy is the point of it. This is a band that has done a lot of stages between them, and it plays like one, tight where it needs to be and unbothered everywhere else.

Seven on stage: keyboards, two guitars, bass, drums, lead vocals and female backing vocals. Allow enough room for that many players and their gear. Anything outdoors has to be under cover, which is worth sorting well before the day rather than watching the forecast all week.
