About
The Waterloo Sunsets is a tribute band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
The Waterloo Sunsets play the Kinks, and they look the part while they do it: red hunting jackets and ruffled shirts, exactly as the band wore them in the 60s. Three part harmonies carry the songs, and the sound stays true to the era. Waterloo Sunset, Lola, Sunny Afternoon, You Really Got Me, Apeman and the rest of the hits are all in, with other 60s and 70s favourites filling out the night. A Melbourne trio, and a good fit for anyone who wants a specific slice of British pop done properly rather than a general covers set.
