About
The Australian Bruno Mars Show is a tribute band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Eleven musicians, a brass section, dancers, vocalists and a live percussionist. The Australian Bruno Mars Show goes after the energy and attitude of a Bruno Mars concert rather than an impersonation of the man, which is a meaningful difference once the band starts. The hits are all there: Uptown Funk, 24K Magic, Treasure, Locked Out of Heaven, Leave the Door Open, That's What I Like, plus the collaborations and Silk Sonic material. A second set turns to the artists who shaped his sound, running through Prince, Michael Jackson, James Brown, Beyonce, Amy Winehouse, Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin. Three formats are offered: an eight to ten minute Superbowl-style feature, a 50-minute concert set, or the full two-set Bruno and His Idols night. They've played packed rooms around the country. Insured.
The show
Three ways to book this one, sized to what your night needs. The Superbowl feature runs eight to ten minutes and recreates that halftime medley of the big hits, ideal when entertainment is one moment in a longer program. The concert set runs fifty minutes straight through the singles. And the full Bruno and His Idols night is two fifty minute sets: the tribute concert first, then the band turning to the R&B, soul and funk artists behind the sound, Prince, Michael Jackson, James Brown and Justin Timberlake among them.
Performance options
Pick from three show formats. The Superbowl feature set is a short eight to ten minute burst modelled on the halftime performance, a medley of the biggest songs. The Concert Experience is a single fifty minute set of hits. Bruno and His Idols is the full evening, two fifty minute sets back to back: the tribute concert to open, then a second set, played without the costumes, covering the R&B, soul and funk artists who shaped Bruno's music, including Prince, Michael Jackson, James Brown and Justin Timberlake.
