About
The Aussie Bruno Mars Show and Soul Diva Show is a tribute band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Two shows in one booking. International vocalist Justin Stephenson fronts the Bruno Mars half, running through 24K Magic, Uptown Funk, Treasure, That's What I Like, Locked Out of Heaven, Grenade and the slower ones like Versace on the Floor, Just the Way You Are and Marry You. New Zealand and Australian artist Melaanie takes the other half, paying tribute to the women of soul with hits from the 60s through the 90s, including Proud Mary, I Will Survive, Killing Me Softly and a Destiny's Child medley. Behind them is the Hooligans, a six-piece playing it all live: keys, guitar, saxophone, bass and drums. Costumes, lighting and sound production are part of the package, with two dancers, a backdrop and promo material available as extras. A large stage helps.
Watch
The show
Six musicians on stage playing live: keyboards, guitar, saxophone, bass and drums, in costume. Justin Stephenson handles the Bruno Mars material and Melaanie takes the soul side, so it is genuinely two shows across one booking. Sound and lighting come with engineers to run them. Two dancers, a backdrop and promotional material can be added if you want more scale.
Performance options
Book the full show and you get two hours on stage with the six piece band, production included, so sound and lighting travel with them. Dancers are an optional extra on top of the standard booking, and worth thinking about on a bigger stage where the extra movement fills the space.
