About
Rod Stewart Tribute Show is a tribute band for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Built for daytime cabaret, which is a rarer thing than it sounds. Dave "Rod" Patten fronts this Sydney tribute as a two piece with recorded backing, and there's a three piece option where a female singer joins him and takes on a range of characters. Jonny Gardiner covers the 60s British classics from the bands that came up around the same era. The set moves through Rod Stewart's big hits, the ballads, and songs from the Great American Songbook, so it sits nicely in an easy listening slot rather than a late night one. Clubs and venues wanting an afternoon show for their regulars are the obvious fit.
