About
Cyndi Madonna is a tribute band for hire in Wollongong, NSW.
Two of pop's biggest names on stage together, which never actually happened in real life. Susan Smith takes Madonna and Grace Fagnano takes Cyndi Lauper, backed by a five-piece band, choreographed dancers and costume changes. The set is all hits and nothing else: Like A Prayer, Into The Groove, Vogue, Material Girl, La Isla Bonita, Papa Don't Preach, then Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Time After Time, True Colours, She Bop and I Drove All Night. Based in Wollongong and built for clubs, corporate nights and private functions. A change room is required at the venue. The show also runs as part of larger retro programs covering the 70s, 80s and 90s.

The show
Two of pop's biggest names share a stage here, which is the whole trick of it. Susan Smith works as Madonna, Grace Fagnano takes Cyndi Lauper, and behind them sits a five-piece band. Costume changes and choreographed dancers do the visual half. Programmed lighting and a full production setup mean it looks like a show rather than a covers set, and the song choices stay on the hits both artists are known for. It suits clubs, corporate nights and private functions. You'll need to give the performers a change room at the venue.
Performance options
The pairing can grow. Booked as a big 80s night, the show runs alongside Retrospective for a full evening of that decade. Widen it out and the Retro Night version pulls in the 70s and 90s as well, so the material spans three decades instead of one. There's also a three-way option: Madonna and Cyndi Lauper joined by Songs of P!nk, which puts three pop headliners on the same bill in one night. Which one suits depends on how long your night runs and how broad you want the songs to go.
