About
Claptonesque is a tribute band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Dave McFarlane leads Claptonesque's 7 piece celebration of Eric Clapton's music. The Melbourne show moves through songs associated with Cream and Derek and the Dominos, then into Clapton's solo work. Electric guitar pieces such as Crossroads and Layla sit alongside quieter acoustic selections including Tears in Heaven. Presented as a two hour concert, the programme combines guitar solos and vocal harmonies across several decades of the repertoire.
