Beatle Magic is a tribute band for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Authenticity is the whole point here. BEATLE MAGIC play through Vox amps and Ludwig drums with Gretsch, Hofner and Rickenbacker guitars, the same instruments the records were made on, and they change costume and wig for each Beatles era. Two 60-minute sets take you from the mop top years, through Please Please Me, Twist And Shout, A Hard Day's Night, Ticket To Ride and Help, into Sgt Pepper and out through Come Together and Hey Jude. Bill Croft put the show together as a tribute to his favourite band. The band asks for a 5 x 4 metre stage with a dressing room close by. Fully insured.

The show
Two sixty-minute sets of the biggest Beatles songs, running roughly the way the band's own career did. It opens in the mop top years, works through Sgt Pepper and finishes on Hey Jude. The gear is the point of difference: authentic Vox amps, Ludwig drums, and Gretsch, Hofner and Rickenbacker guitars, the same instruments behind the records. Costumes and wigs change with each period, so you're watching the look shift as the music does.
On the day
A stage of 5 by 4 metres is what BEATLE MAGIC ask for, which gives four musicians and their amps room to work. They also need a dressing room, either attached to the stage or close to it, because the costume and wig changes between eras happen during the show rather than before it.
