About
April Sons of Beaches is a tribute band for hire in Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Australian Crawl and Dragon, played back to back by a fully costumed tribute band. April Sons of Beaches works through The Boys Light Up, Reckless, Downhearted and Lakeside, then swings into April Sun in Cuba, Are You Old Enough? and Rain. There's also a bigger 80s Oz show that folds in songs from INXS, The Models and Men At Work. The members are experienced Sunshine Coast performers with a genuine soft spot for classic Aussie rock, and the whole thing is built to pull a crowd out of their seats and onto the dance floor. The band carries all relevant insurances.

The show
These are Sunshine Coast players with real mileage, and the pull towards classic Australasian rock is genuine rather than a costume they put on. It was the music they grew up with here, and that affection comes through in how the songs are played. There's a second, larger show available as well, an 80s Oz set that widens the net to other big Australian names of the decade: INXS, Men At Work and The Models among them. Worth asking which of the two suits your crowd better.
