About
The Stilt Police is a stilt walker for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
The Stilt Police turn a police patrol into a roving comedy act. The usual trio features a commissioner, sergeant and frequently troublesome probationary constable, with their hierarchy providing material for improvised exchanges.
The Melbourne act offers London Bobby and Australian police variations, as well as smaller solo or duo formats. Performers use banter and props such as crime-scene tape to involve guests. Their background in stand-up and improvisation supports an appearance that develops around the people and situations they encounter at the event.
