About
Stilt Walkers Australia is a stilt walker for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Costumes are the whole point here. Stilt Walkers Australia runs a stable of characters that includes Eesha Elephant and Gemma Giraffe, both close to life sized, alongside sillier turns like the Giant Gnomes and Giant Chefs. There's a fantasy side too, with the Dream Bear and the Water Drops, who blow giant bubbles as they go. The performers come from a comedy improvisation background, so adults get worked into the fun as much as the kids do, which is not always true of roving acts. Giant puppets and bubble acts are on the books as well. Melbourne based, and a sensible pick for festivals, shopping centre days and weddings that want something moving through the crowd.
