About
Roo'd is a stilt walker for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Roo'd is a Sydney roving act featuring giant kangaroo characters on bouncing stilts. The performers combine an outback character style with a cheeky urban attitude, moving through crowds in groups of up to six. Their spring-loaded movement allows large bounds and high jumps, giving the act a distinctive physical presence. Roo'd has appeared at festivals across Australia and internationally, including Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America. The presentation centres on energetic movement and playful encounters with spectators.
