About
Lady Long-Legs is a stilt walker for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
Faith Henshaw is Lady Long-Legs, a Gold Coast stilt walker who has spent 25 years roving at events in Australia and the UK. She trained at NICA and holds a Certificate in Performing Arts. The costume list is the real draw: showgirl, Viking, Christmas elf, LED space robot, fairy, candy girl, Superwoman, Mad Max future warrior, plus St Patrick's Day, Melbourne Cup, Valentine's Day, Pride, Halloween and Easter. Add headpieces and dance moves to match. Nightclubs, festivals, parades, corporate events, community days and children's parties all work. The look does a lot of the talking before she's said a word.

The show
Faith Henshaw graduated from NICA and holds a Certificate in Performing Arts, and Lady Long-Legs grew out of a decade she spent in the UK club world. She left Melbourne for London in 1996, worked as a promoter and club host, and helped run a weekly night at Turnmills in Islington. Trips to Ibiza supplied the rest of it, the elaborate costumes and the sense that a performer should be worth looking at as well as watching. She folded the costumes, the roving and the dancing into one act and has been doing it ever since, with no sign of slowing down.
