About
Taron Talidegas is a singer for hire in Saint Lucia, QLD.
Taron Talidegas plays a solo show that keeps changing gear. Soft piano and acoustic guitar for the early part of a night, then the electric comes out and it turns into classic rock, blues and pop with the solos left in. There's a lot of Elvis in the setlist, from Blue Suede Shoes and Hound Dog through to If I Can Dream, alongside Chuck Berry and newer material. Audience interaction is a big part of it, and so is the dancing. Taron brings guitars, keyboard, amps and cables, and needs stage power, a vocal mic and enough room for both the acoustic and electric rigs. Holds a busking permit for Queen Street Mall in Brisbane.
The show
It starts soft and doesn't stay that way. Taron Talidegas opens on piano and acoustic guitar, easy listening, room-filling stuff, then the electric comes out and the second half turns into classic rock, blues and pop with the solos played properly rather than trimmed. There's a lot of Elvis in there, Blue Suede Shoes and Hound Dog through to If I Can Dream, plus Chuck Berry and newer material. He talks to the crowd, gets people up, and moves around while he plays. One person, but not a background act.
On the day
He brings acoustic and electric guitars, keyboard, amplifiers, cables and all his own personal equipment. From your side he needs power at the stage, at least one vocal microphone with a stand, and enough floor space for both rigs to be set up at once, since the show swaps between them. Worth checking the space before you book if the stage is a small one.
Performance options
The full solo show is the main option, moving between acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano and vocals across the night, so the same booking covers the quiet stretch and the loud one. There's a stripped-back acoustic version, guitar and vocals only, built for cafes, restaurants, smaller gatherings and outdoor events where you want the music warm rather than big. The electric package goes the other way, rock and pop favourites at full volume with the solos and the crowd interaction, which suits parties, venues and festivals. And there's a custom option where the songs, genres and setlist are put together for your event specifically, including requests and themed material.
