About
Steve Clark is a singer for hire in Ballarat, VIC.
Ballarat is home base, but Steve Clark has taken the guitar a fair distance from it. Tours through interstate venues, South East Asia and the UK, plus a run of television appearances. What comes back to a local gig is a performer who has done this in front of every kind of crowd. The set is contemporary rock and pop melody, the kind where people sing the chorus without being asked and then find themselves dancing. Weddings, private parties and corporate events are the usual bookings. He also works as a duo under the name Clarky & Tones, and he has his own sound gear.

The show
Contemporary rock and pop, weighted towards melody and the songs a crowd already carries around in their heads. Steve has been at this a long time and it shows in the pacing. People start singing along without being asked, and by the back half of the night a fair few of them are up dancing to the tunes they came hoping to hear. Straightforward, and it works on rooms of most sizes.
