About

Tres Passer is a singer-songwriter for hire in Nowra, NSW.

Paul Greene has albums, collaborations and a long stretch of years behind him, and it shows in the way he handles a room rather than in any of the credits. Tell him what the night needs and he'll shape the set around it, quiet or loud, background or front and centre. The songs pull from The Beatles, Eagles, Jackson Browne, Hank Williams, Crowded House, Midnight Oil, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Oasis, Led Zeppelin, The Police and his own writing. Bookings run solo, as a duo, a three piece, or a bigger line-up with keys, percussion and backing vocals. He also DJs on vinyl when that suits better. Setup is easy: a dry spot and a power point, or nothing at all for a small room. Insured, with a working with children check.

Watch

The show

Paul has been playing a long time, and the thing he's best at isn't a particular song. It's reading what a room wants and giving it that. Tell him what you need from the night, quiet under conversation or loud and front of house, and he'll get you there without a fuss. No dramas is the whole approach, and after this many years he means it.

On the day

A dry spot to stand in and a power point to plug into. Even the power point is negotiable, because in a small room he'll just play acoustically and skip the PA entirely. Everything else comes with him.

Performance options

Solo is the simplest booking. From there it goes to a duo, or a three piece with guitar, bass and drums or percussion, or a bigger line-up that adds keys, percussion and two backing vocalists. He also DJs, all vinyl, funky and retro. And any of those can be combined across one night, so live music early and vinyl later is perfectly workable.
