About
Tony Kennelly is a singer-songwriter for hire in Port Macquarie, NSW.
Tony Kennelly writes from things that have actually happened to him, and the songs land as stories rather than as background noise. His second album, Battlegrounds, is where most of that writing lives. Live, the set is mostly his own material with covers from artists he loves dropped in among it, and the pace moves between heartfelt and upbeat across a night. He's based at Port Macquarie and carries his own PA anywhere in New South Wales. For bigger rooms he can put a full band behind him. Country, folk and acoustic listings all fit what he does, though the honest description is a singer songwriter playing his own work.
Watch
The show
Tony's own songs carry most of the night, heartfelt in places and lifted in others, with covers from artists he admires threaded through. It's a show that holds attention across a full evening rather than sitting behind the conversation. For a bigger room, he can bring his band in behind him.
On the day
Every piece of equipment, PA included, comes with Tony anywhere in New South Wales. Interstate bookings need the gear supplied at your end. Anything beyond 100km from home needs accommodation sorted. A full band is available where the venue is large enough to warrant it.
Song list
Tony will play mostly originals from his albums and also upcoming albums. He also loves to throw in some covers from his favorite artists
