About
Matthew Armitage is a singer-songwriter for hire in Byron Bay, NSW.
Matthew Armitage is a guitarist and songwriter blending blues, soul and indie rock, with the storytelling doing a good deal of the work. He plays everything from small rooms to festival stages, and the performances stay intimate even when the stage is big, which is a harder trick than it sounds. Byron Bay based. Passionate playing, and precise with it rather than loose.
