Bendigo Blues and Roots Festival director Colin Thomas first saw her open for The Waifs at the Capital Theatre in Bendigo, playing solo acoustic to a room of 450, and she has since become a returning name on that festival's program. That gives you a fair idea of the shape of a set: one voice, one guitar, songs she wrote herself, and a crowd that goes quiet for them. It suits a listening room more than a dance floor.
