Richard Valdez

Richard Valdez sings Latin music and accompanies himself on guitar, working out of Sydney. The set swings between romantic ballads and the dance floor material: La Bamba, Sway, Guantanamera, Bamboleo, Chan Chan, Oye Como Va, Cuarto de Tula. That mix is the whole trick. One performer can hold a dinner at a comfortable volume and then push a room into moving, without a change of line-up. Suits weddings, ceremonies and any event after something warmer than a playlist.
