About
O K China is a singer for hire in Canberra, ACT.
Solo acoustic singer and guitarist working out of Canberra, with a set built on songwriters rather than hits. Paul Kelly is the centre of gravity. Around him sit Cold Chisel, Dragon, Hunters and Collectors, John Farnham, Thirsty Merc, Bondi Cigars and Tame Impala on the Australian side, and Beatles, Stones, Eagles, Creedence, Dylan, Billy Joel, Beach Boys, Springsteen and Bonnie Raitt on the classic side. There's a wider streak too: Arctic Monkeys, George Ezra, Neil Young, Marc Cohn, Tom Petty, Coldplay, Blondie, The Pretenders. Originals sit alongside the covers.
