About
Nick Waters is a singer for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
Songs from every decade, picked for a room where the ages are all over the place. Nick Waters works the Gold Coast and beyond, and the shape of the act is yours to choose: solo, a duo with a female vocalist, a duo with his drummer who also sings backing, a trio with both, or a four piece with two female lead vocalists on top of the drums. Each step up widens the repertoire and adds three part harmony. He also fronts a band called Captain Wow Band, which pushes the popular hits further again. Outdoors he'll want a flat dry surface, shade and a standard power outlet.
On the day
Outdoors, he needs a flat dry area with a level surface. Grass has to be covered with something stable and dry underneath the gear. It also needs shade from the sun and cover from any weather that might turn. A standard 240V outlet is required, and ideally nothing else running on that same circuit. Solo needs a minimum of three metres wide by two deep, and it grows from there with the line-up. The full band wants at least five metres wide by three deep.
Performance options
Five shapes, and each step up widens what can be played. Solo is Nick on his own. Then a duo with his female vocalist, which opens up a much broader range of songs. Or a duo with his drummer, who sings backing as well. The trio puts both alongside him for a bigger repertoire with three part harmony. And the four piece has two female lead vocalists plus the drummer, which is the fullest version of it.
