About
M.Valley is a singer for hire in Dubbo, NSW.
Malachi sings and plays guitar around Dubbo, sometimes with digital backing behind him, and he's become a familiar name on the local pub circuit through rooms like The Castlereagh Hotel and the Western Star. Restaurants, weddings and private parties too. In 2022 he picked up a nomination at Dubbo's Words and Music SOMAD awards. The songbook swings wide: Uptown Funk, Marry You and a Bruno Mars instrumental, Jailhouse Rock, Suspicious Minds and If I Can Dream, Tennessee Whiskey, Wagon Wheel, Somebody Like You, Remember When. He works within about 50km of Dubbo. Needs power, plus shade on a hot day and cover if it rains.
The show
Malachi's aim is a room that's up and moving rather than sitting politely through it. Singing along, laughing, dancing, that sort of night. He plays guitar and sings, with digital backing filling out the sound when a song wants more behind it, and the material spans rock and roll, country and modern pop, so there's usually something in there for whoever's in the room.
On the day
Power at the performance area. Outdoors, he'll need shade if the day is hot and something over him if there's rain about, which is worth sorting when you book rather than on the morning.
