About
Mick Bazley is a singer for hire in Bargara, QLD.
Aussie pub rock is the home ground here. Cold Chisel, AC/DC, Jimmy Barnes, Noiseworks, Creedence, with Led Zeppelin, the Foo Fighters, the Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Paul Kelly and a bit of Johnny Cash country in the mix. Mick Bazley can start the night gentle, acoustic songs and ballads over dinner, then wind it up until the floor's moving. Fifties through to the nineties, ballads and blues included. He brings a full PA, lighting and a backdrop, so the room looks like a gig rather than a corner of a function centre. Bargara based, near Bundaberg, and he works solo or with a band.
The show
The night has two halves. Early on Mick keeps it acoustic and light, dinner music while people eat and talk. Then it turns, and the fifties through nineties material comes out properly: Jimmy Barnes, Cold Chisel, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Creedence and a solid run of Australian pub rock. Ballads and blues sit in there too. If you want a room that starts civilised and finishes with the floor full, that is the shape of it.
