About
Melanie Wason is a singer for hire in Greensborough, VIC.
One musician, but rarely the sound of one. Melanie Wason builds her sets with live looping and vocal effects, stacking parts as she goes so a solo booking fills a room the way a group would. Fifteen years of live performance behind it, and a reputation built on turning up and being consistent rather than on flash. The work spans acoustic sets for the quieter end of a night, through to full band and DJ formats when the brief calls for more. Weddings, pubs, functions. She'll shape the set around what you actually want the room to feel like, which is a more useful conversation than picking a genre off a list.
